Graphic design — Nepal

Graphic design from Nepalfor campaigns and print

Soft Himalaya designs social graphics, advertising creative, brochures, packaging and print artwork from Kathmandu for businesses in Nepal, the UK, Australia, the USA and Canada.

  • Sized to each platform's current specification
  • Print artwork prepared with bleed and crop marks
  • Editable source files handed over on delivery
How we plan it
Artboard formatsCMYK / RGB
  • Feed post1:1
  • Story / Reel9:16
  • Banner16:9
  • PrintA4

Every asset is built at the correct ratio and resolution for where it will be published, so nothing is cropped or resampled at the last minute.

Illustrative artboard sizes — not client work.
Correct formats
Each asset is built at the ratio, resolution and safe-area the destination platform expects.
Readable hierarchy
The message is set so the main point reads first, at the size the audience will actually see it.
Production-ready files
Print work is supplied with bleed, crop marks, correct colour mode and outlined or embedded fonts.
Reusable templates
Recurring pieces are built as templates so later posts and pages do not start from scratch.

What we design

Design work for screen and print

We work either on individual pieces or as ongoing design support for a marketing calendar. The approach is the same: agree the format and message, then produce artwork ready for its destination.

Social media graphics

Feed posts, stories, carousels and profile assets built as a set so a channel looks coherent.

Advertising creative

Ad variations sized for Meta, Google and other placements, with text kept inside safe areas.

Posters and flyers

Single-page promotional artwork prepared for both digital sharing and commercial printing.

Brochures and company profiles

Multi-page documents with a consistent grid, typographic hierarchy and print-ready imposition.

Packaging and labels

Label and carton artwork set to the printer's dieline, material and colour specification.

Presentations and reports

Slide and document templates your team can fill in without the layout falling apart.

Infographics and data graphics

Charts and explanatory graphics drawn from your own figures, labelled and sourced clearly.

Signage and large format

Banners, standees and shopfront artwork set up at scale with viewing distance accounted for.

Illustration and icon sets

Custom vector illustrations and icon families drawn to one weight and style for reuse.

Custom vs template

Why the production detail matters

Design does not guarantee a click-through rate — offer, audience and targeting decide most of that. What custom design does control is whether the message is legible, on-brand and technically correct wherever it is published.

  • A template fits everyone, not you

Stock layouts are built around placeholder content. Custom work is set around your actual message length, imagery and brand rules.

  • The format decides the design

A story, a feed post and an A4 flyer are not the same artwork resized. Each is composed for its own crop, reading distance and safe area.

  • Print is unforgiving

Colour mode, resolution, bleed and font embedding either work or the job is rejected. Production settings are handled before files go to a supplier.

  • Consistency compounds

Work that follows one system is faster to produce each time and easier for an audience to associate with your business.

How we work

From brief to production files

Turnaround depends on the number of pieces, how quickly copy and images are available, and the agreed revision rounds. We confirm a schedule once the brief is settled.

  1. 01

    Brief and assets

We collect the message, copy, logo files, photography and any brand rules, and confirm where each piece will be published.

  2. 02

    Direction and references

Layout direction, tone and reference material are agreed before production, so revisions are about detail rather than approach.

  3. 03

    First drafts

Initial artwork is presented at real size, in context where possible, with the reasoning behind the layout choices.

  4. 04

    Revisions

Feedback is consolidated into rounds agreed in the scope, so changes are made once rather than piecemeal.

  5. 05

    Production setup

Files are prepared for their destination: colour mode, resolution, bleed, safe areas and export presets per channel.

  6. 06

    Delivery

Final exports and editable source files are handed over, with any template set up for your team to reuse.

Design planning

Settle the constraints, then design

Rather than showing invented campaign mockups, these are the four constraints every piece of design work has to satisfy before it is worth refining.

Format and safe area

Ratio, resolution and the region where text stays clear of platform overlays and print trim.

Message hierarchy

What must be read first, second and last — and what gets cut when the space will not carry it.

Colour and contrast

Palette applied so text stays legible on small screens, in bright light and in one-colour print.

Production specification

Bleed, colour profile, dielines, stock and finishing agreed with the supplier before artwork is final.

Project estimates

Scope first, then price

Design cost depends on the number of pieces, formats and adaptations, how much copy and imagery you supply, and the revision rounds agreed. We estimate once the asset list is clear.

Single pieces

A defined set of assets — a launch poster, a brochure, a run of ad creative for one campaign.

  • Agreed asset list

  • Source file handover

Ongoing design support

A regular volume of design work each month against your marketing calendar.

  • Monthly asset planning
  • Reusable templates
  • Consistent turnaround windows
  • Shared asset library

Campaign and print systems

A full campaign or print programme spanning multiple formats, suppliers and languages.

  • Format and channel mapping
  • Supplier specification checks
  • Master artwork and adaptations
  • Production hand-off

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about formats, revisions, file ownership and how design work is quoted.

It covers the visual assets a business publishes: social graphics, advertising creative, posters and flyers, brochures and company profiles, packaging and labels, presentations, infographics and signage. Work is produced at the correct format and resolution for wherever it will appear.

Working together

A clear design relationship

We do not publish anonymous client quotes, star ratings or invented engagement figures. These are the delivery standards we hold ourselves to instead.

Documented brief

The asset list, formats, revision rounds and who supplies copy and imagery are agreed before design starts.

Reviewable drafts

You see artwork at real size while it can still change, not only as a finished file at the deadline.

Files that work

Exports are checked against the destination — platform specification for digital, supplier specification for print.

Ownership on delivery

Final artwork rights transfer to you on completion, along with the editable source files for the agreed work.
